VAT & tax

Knows the rules where you work.

VAT rates, invoice requirements, and lookup services differ by country. Beancounter has built-in knowledge for three jurisdictions — and looks up company details directly from official government registers.

Belgium

Correct Belgian VAT rates pre-configured. Export rules for services and goods — both intra-EU and outside the EU — are all pre-set up, so the right VAT treatment is applied automatically. Look up any Belgian company by VAT number via the official EU VIES register — name and address auto-fill instantly.

🇫🇷

France

French VAT rates and invoice requirements built in. VIES lookup supported for French companies. French language interface available throughout.

🇲🇨

Monaco

Monaco uses French VAT rules, which Beancounter handles correctly. Monégasque companies have no VAT number — instead, Beancounter is directly integrated with the official Répertoire du Commerce et de l'Industrie (RCI). Search by name and auto-fill the company record, including the RCI number, straight from the Monaco company register.
